Abrasive wear of the blades of the spiral sand washer is a common phenomenon in the sand washing equipment. The reason for this phenomenon is that the blade has been rubbed by the material for a long time, and it is subjected to strong impact during the cleaning process, especially the cleaning of some larger-sized sand and gravel, which makes the sand washer have a faster wear rate and wear. Seriously, the blade surface will affect the normal production requirements of the sand washing machine.

1. Broken shaft

The main reasons for shaft breakage are uneven sand return, insufficient strength of the hollow shaft, an uneven operating load of the classifier, poor processing quality of the shaft material, improper installation of the hollow shaft or bending of the shaft, and improper operation.

Solution: It can be solved by replacing the hollow shaft or re-welding.

2. Unusual vibration or sound

The oil is abnormally noisy or vibrated when the spiral sand washer is running.

Solution: The feeding should be stopped immediately, and after the remaining materials have been processed, the generator should be stopped, and the machine should be stopped for inspection.

3. Spiral lobes or spokes bent

Generally, it is caused by the excessive amount of sand returning during operation, which causes the sand returning tank to be blocked; or the screw lift is not enough before starting.

Solution: By repairing or replacing new spiral blades and spokes.

4. Gears are easily damaged

Gears are damaged due to long-term wear and tear.

Solution: Damaged gears should be replaced in time and maintained regularly, and the shaft of the sand washing machine should reach the specified level.

5. Lift rod vibration

The shaft head is bent, sand enters the lower shaft head, or the balls of the shaft head are worn, which will easily cause the vibration of the lifting rod;

Solution: Regularly clean the shaft head, and check whether the shaft head is bent and the wear of the balls in time.
