The Operating Procedures Of Spiral Classifier

The spiral classifier is a machine used for screening and grading materials. The spiral classifier is mainly composed of a feed port, a discharge port, a screw conveyor, a vibrating screen, and a motor. During operation, the material enters the spiral classifier through the feed port and is divided into particles of different sizes, finally, the materials of different sizes are discharged through the vibrating screen. So how to operate the spiral classifier?

Pre-operation preparation

1. Confirm that the spiral classifier has been powered on and is in normal working condition.

2. According to the type of material to be processed, select the corresponding screen and screw shaft.

3. Open the feeding system, clean the material to be processed, and remove impurities from it.

Operating procedure

1.  Put the cleaned material into the feed port and adjust the opening of the feed door so that the material can pass through the feeding system of the spiral classifier smoothly.

2. Start the motor of the spiral classifier and adjust the speed of the spiral shaft, so that the material can run upward smoothly under the action of the spiral shaft.

3. According to the material classification requirements, the classification results can meet the expected requirements by keeping the material stable in the bearing direction.

4. For materials that have abnormalities during the grading process, it is necessary to stop the machine in time and adjust the equipment to ensure that the subsequent grading operations can proceed normally.

Post-operation maintenance

1. Turn off the power of the spiral classifier and clean and maintain the equipment in time.

2. Clean the used sieves and store them in the designated location.

3. For the cleaning and maintenance of the spiral shaft, it is necessary to follow the instructions of the spiral classifier and perform the cleaning and maintenance operations correctly.

4. Regular cleaning and maintenance are required to ensure its normal operation in daily production.
